Biography

Mary Beth Noonan, M.D., FAAP is a Board Certified Pediatrician who has been practicing Pediatrics for 25 years. Dr. Noonan received her Bachelor’s Degree from Duke University and pursued a graduate degree at The University of Virginia. She graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School with her Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1994. She did extensive Pediatric training at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia, as well as Egleston Children’s Hospital and Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Noonan is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she grew up with her younger siblings, David and Anne. Dr. Noonan has two children, Jonathan, 21 years of age, and Christopher, 18 years of age. Both of her boys are currently attending college.

In 2006, Dr. Noonan began practicing Pediatrics in Martinsville, Virginia. She opened Children First Pediatrics of Virginia, P.C. in August 2016. When she is not taking care of the children of Martinsville City, Henry County and surrounding areas, she likes to spend time with her children and her two Labrador retrievers, Emma and Isaac, play tennis, and cook.
